A Superintendent Search is one of the most important functions performed by the board of education. In a direct response to our members’ requests for assistance, NASB developed a Superintendent Search Service in November 1982. For more than 27 years, staff has successfully completed more than 250 searches.
NASB works in partnership with the Board of Education to provide search service protocol and procedures to ensure a customized and effective superintendent search process. The Association has assisted more Nebraska school districts with superintendent search services than any other single entity in the State of Nebraska.
NASB Superintendent Search Service success is based upon the integrity and openness of the process and our commitment to the involvement of the board as the decision-maker. The NASB Search Service has been utilized by school districts ranging in size from less than 100 students to districts with over 4,000 students enrolled in their schools.
