Student Photograph and Video Policy
The school district generally prohibits students from taking photographs or making video recordings on school grounds, in a school vehicle, or at a school event except as provided in this policy or as otherwise required by law.† Students may take photographs and make video recordings only after receiving permission from Administration.† An exception will be made to this policy if photographs or video recordings are necessary to accommodate a studentís disability or are required by the studentís Individualized Education Plan (IEP) or Section 504 Plan.† In no event shall photographs or video recordings be taken or made in restrooms, locker rooms, or other areas where there is a reasonable expectation of privacy.† Students who violate this policy may be subject to discipline up to and including expulsion.
