The Board recognizes that students may require school counseling services to assist them in reaching their educational potential.

The student's counseling program may include individual or group activities to help the student develop positive relationships with others, to develop appropriate behaviors for various educational and social settings, to develop effective study habits, improve their understanding of self in terms of interests, abilities, achievements and values, and formulate educational and career plans.
