STUDENT USE OF ELECTRONIC COMMUNICATIONS DEVICES
Students shall be allowed to use and possess electronic communications devices on school property. The Superintendent or building Principal shall deal with any abuses of the privilege afforded under this policy through rules established at the building level and/or through the Student Code of Conduct.
Visible possession of all cell phones is prohibited in any area where there is an expectation of privacy.
Students violating this policy may be subject to disciplinary action; i.e., detention, suspension and/or expulsion.
The administration shall promulgate rules to enforce this policy at the building level.
